Established in 2009, our team now includes administrative and sales staff and a shipping manager in New Jersey, a sales team in Buffalo, NY and full time quality control staff in California. Our performance speaks for itself. In 2013 we delivered well over 2 million boxes of produce to retailers across the United States. Of those deliveries 70% were just-in-time replenishment needs earning us a high level of trust and customer satisfaction.
Since our first full year in business we received top ratings from Blue Book Services in all three categories of credit worth, payer ability and integrity. We are proud of these ratings that reflect our overall financial strength, trading practices and reputation in the industry. Direct Source Marketing is also a member of the Produce Marketing Association.
Ira Greenstein brings over 25 years of produce industry experience to Direct Source Marketing. He was introduced to the industry early in his career by his grandfather who worked for C.H. Robinson. Ira was drawn in by the pace of the industry. As Ira puts it “No two days are ever the same. Every day there are new challenges that bring either a sense of accomplishment or the drive to come back and do better tomorrow.”
